July 1 - Tonight! Rockland Planning Board meeting. Hear pre-application for the McLain School redevelopment proposal submitted by Developers Collaborative for 29 units & 37 parking spaces and option to double. 5:15pm @ Rockland City Hall. Public comments July 15.
July 3: St. George Community Resource Fair. Meet organizations/service providers on the peninsula, volunteer, or just use it as an excuse to visit Tenants Harbor in the summer! 2-4pm 47 Main St Tenants Harbor.

July 14: Insider Tour of Zero Energy Homes Demonstration House. See + hear how Zero Energy Homes and partners are building net-zero workforce affordable home with 80% Maine-sourced materials. 14 Osprey Lane Searsport, 4:30-6pm; contact Amanda to carpool from Camden.
August 18: Environmental Journalism + Maine Conservation. Hear from local and national climate & environmental journalists. Cash bar, donations welcome for Maine Conservation Alliance. Blue Barren in Camden, 5-7:30pm. Learn more & RSVP.
August 23: Radical Reuse Festival, Union. Second Story Builders - a building deconstruction and reuse pioneer - is holding a celebration of reclaimed building materials. Contact Danny (danny@secondstorybuilders.com) to find materials - They have a growing inventory of wood, metal and more.

Camden/Rockport Energy Coach Project Manager: RFQ from Town of Rockport coming soon for 1-2 year contract position to manage the new neighbor-to-neighbor Energy Coach program. 20 hrs/week. Contact Amanda to learn more.
Camden/Rockport Energy Coaches wanted! Sign up for the CamdenCAN newsletter to learn more about the Energy Coach program or volunteer. Technical training this fall on building science and heat pumps, though most of the work (and fun!) is helping neighbors weigh options/quotes, find rebates and discounts, and follow through.
